Corporate Liquidity Call To Action

How does Reevio work? This is the clever bit. The Reevio team have developed something called modular templates… What now?  A modular template. It’s basically a template that you pick, that’s got all these individual scenes in that you can pick and choose from to create crash-hot Corporate that’s unique to your marketing situation.  Yeah, they also have Facebook cover videos. I’ll be honest, before Reevio came along, I didn’t even know Facebook cover videos were a thing… but WOW! Ha! Ok, but can something that does everything, really be that good? That’s a fair question, but the way these modular templates work is impressive, and when you add in over 6000 high quality digital assets that you get with Reevio, I think it’s probably harder to make a bad video, than a good one.

What kind of videos can I make? It’d be quicker to tell you what kind of Corporate it can’t make, but I can’t think of any. Seriously? Yeah, from marketing point of view it does the lot… Whiteboard, explainer, logos, motion titles, dynamic text, sales videos, promos, it’s even got something called a FUSION TEMPLATE that lets you combine your Reevio videos with other video you might want to re-use…That’s a lot!

How to Create Movies with Reevio Video Maker

Professional game designers need some pretty hardcore skills. They need computer programming, Reevio digital animation, physics and math skills. This is to enter what was in 2005 a 31 billion-dollar-a-year industry worldwide. The road is not easy to land that prized job at the major game making companies such as Electronic Arts and Sony. There are four ways to get the knowledge necessary to make video games depending on if you want to compete for an elite job at one of the big companies or if you just want to tinker around on weekends. Also, you have to take into consideration your age. There are different options available for adults as compared to minors. You could spend four years at a traditional university. You could spend two or more years at a specialty school. There are summer camps available for teens, usually two week programs. And finally there are online tutorials. If you're like me, you're an adult who has some creative ideas but who doesn't want to devote a lot of time to creating video games. I'm going to run down the options available in this article and then I will tell you what worked for me at the end.

First there are traditional college game design courses. Many fall under the title of digital media degrees. The advantage of a traditional design course is that some students get immediate job offers from the big corporations. When these corporations recruit they usually go to these schools. The major disadvantage of these schools is the cost. A degree can cost close to $100,000 for an out of state student. Then you have to add in the cost of the extra years spent on courses unrelated to video game creation but required by the school for a degree. I'm talking about the foreign languages, English and some sciences. This time could be spent earning money creating games. Another drawback is that they are limited to high school graduates only. Also due to their inflexibility in schedule, a working adult with a family would find it impossible to participate. The most popular traditional schools for video game making are Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon and USC.

Now for my decision. Because I am a working man and I do not want game making to be a profession, the college option was ruled out. Even going to an online college would be a hassle due to the time it would take and the cost is prohibitive. I've got three kids lined up for college in the not to distant future so I have to watch my spending. Of course at my age, I can't do a summer camp, however, I find it hard to schedule one for my kids because of softball, football, vacations and other things that pop up over the summer. For me my best option is the downloadable video tutorials.

Video Software Reevio

Professional movie makers make movies using a specific software called Reevio. You can follow the same procedure when you are going to make your own movie using Windows Reevio Movie Maker.

These are the steps you need to follow:

-Import a video, photos and music for your movie in Movie Maker.

-Remove bad parts which you don't want to use.

-Order the good material which is left.

-Add some cool things like photos, titles, special effects, background music, spoken text and sound effects.

-Publish the finished movie to DVD.

In the left pane of Windows Vista Movie Maker you find all the 'Tasks' for the movie you are going to make. Right near the word 'Tasks' there are a few buttons where you can switch between 'Tasks' and 'Collections'.

Program options

Before you are going to work on a video you should walk through the options of Windows Vista Movie Maker. Please do the following:

-Click 'Tools' -> 'Options' in the menu.

-Click on the 'Advanced' tab.

-In the 'Video Properties' section you should choose for the option NTSC if you live in the United States. If you live in Europe or in another country that uses PAL, choose PAL.

-Choose as Aspect Ratio 4:3 for a normal television and choose 16:9 for a widescreen television.

-Click 'Ok'.

Now you have set the standard options and now you can import a video in Windows Vista Movie Maker to work with that video.

You can work with all kinds of video files, music files and image files. The following formats are compatible with Windows Vista Movie Maker:

Make a movie automatically

If you have a few clips in your collection, you can make an automatic movie. This function doesn't give you a lot of control of the clips order, special effects or titles, but it is a quick and easy way to make a simple movie.

This is how it can be done:

- Select the clips you want to use in the automatic movie or press Ctrl + A to select them all.

- Click on the button 'AutoMovie' in the toolbar.

- Select an AutoMovie editing style.

- Click on the link 'Enter a title for the movie' to add a title to the movie.

- If you have selected an audio clip in the first step, then click 'Select audio or background music' and pick an audio clip from the list.

- Finally click on the 'Create AutoMovie' button. This can take a few seconds.

In the storyboard you see the title, the clips and some special effects. Choose Play -> Play Storyboard in the menu to play the automatic movie. If the automatic movie looks fine then you can save the movie by clicking 'File' -> 'Publish Movie' in the menu.

If the movie doesn't look fine you can always edit it to make it look better.

Succes making your own movies!
